September 2015 Newsletter - YetiShare 4.2, Reservo 1.2, New Plugins

By Adam posted on 6th October 2015

In this months newsletter we've got some news about the upcoming YetiShare v4.2 release, an update on Reservo, aswell as some new plugin releases.

Firstly, we have had many of our users requesting the vouchers plugin for YetiShare, link checker and the search plugin that was previously available at a third party site. We are happy to announce that we've started development on all 3 of these. The search plugin and link checker will be built into the core YetiShare release, so it'll be available entirely free to existing customers.

The vouchers plugin will be made available separately as a plugin. If you have any suggestions or want to contribute to the plugin requirements, feel free to drop us an email via the support system or post in the RFCs within the forum.

YetiShare v4.2 will arrive in early November. Aswell as the above, performance improvements is the main subject of this release. We're working over every part of the script to reduce any unnecessary database queries, the overall memory footprint and improve caching. We want YetiShare to absolutely fly without loosing any of the core features we've built into the script.

Reservo, our image hosting script, has been out for the past 3 weeks and we've been overwhelmed by the initial response! If you've not see it yet checkout the demo:

Thanks to everyone that contributed during the beta phase and with the feedback after the initial release. We updated to v1.2 of Reservo last week, recently adding support for animated GIF & MNG support. We've big plans for some amazing features over the next fews months, keep up to date via Twitter @ReservoCo.

Reservo now also has 2 new plugins, a Rewards plugin (PPV/PPS) and a WebDav plugin. The WebDav plugin we're particularly proud of as it provides your users with offine access to their images on mobile, tablet and desktop. They can even use a dropbox style client to sync their files over all their devices. Check them out here:

That's it for now. As usual if you have any ideas, we want to hear them! Feel free to post them via the RFCs in the forum or send them via our support system.

Thanks for your continued support!
