Backup your WHM & cPanel backup archives to Amazons hugely resilient Simple Storage Service (S3). Take advantage of automated off-site WHM backups without the need for additional costly hardware. S3BackupWHM tags onto the end of your existing WHM backup process and securely copies your backed up files to Amazon S3.
Keep your server backups stored off-site encase of any major server failure. In addition, Amazon's S3 service keeps these in multiple locations for further redundancy.
The script enables your backups to be sent encrypted to S3 using HTTPS. This ensures your data is secure on it's way to the cloud.
Our script only updates files which have changed on S3, saving your bandwidth costs and vital server resources. Optionally retain up to 7 recent copies of your backups on S3. Support for files larger than 5GB in size also included.
Setup once and let it run. The script tags onto the end of your existing WHM backup process and automatically copies your backups onto the S3 cloud. The schedule will match whatever backup schedule you've set for WHM.
The script doesn't create bespoke backups, it uses your WHM generated backups. This means that you can use the existing functionality within WHM to recover backups should you need to.

The latest version of cPanel/WHM comes with a new backup interface. Our plugin is still fully compatible and your WHM generated backups can still be transferred to S3.
